The Halton Social Enterprise Centre is an initiative which aims to build a shared office and resource facility in which to house and support non-profits, social enterprise, social innovators/entrepreneurs and environmental & grassroots organizations within the Halton Region.
As a potential hub for social innovation within the Halton Region, this facility will provide a cost-effective, physical workspace for “like-minded” organizations to conduct operations. Through this unique co-location model, tenants will benefit from a synergistic atmosphere which supports mind-share, collaboration and networking.
More then just a physical building, the Halton Social Enterprise Centre facility (actual name yet TBD) will provide tenants with workspaces, meeting rooms, IT support, accounting services, reception, lunch room, etc…. pretty much all the necessary infrastructure needed to effectively operate any organization AND because these costs will be shared, rental rates will be at below market rates.
